As they enter Southwoods Ecocentrum, they need to turn left to reach the resort. Meanwhile, for those who will be traveling by means of public transportation, they need to take buses from Manila that are bound to Alabang, Muntinlupa City. From Alabang, they should ride in jeepneys going to Binan. As they reach the municipality, there are taxis that can transport them directly to Splash Island.
What to See inside the Resort
Splash Island features several attractive and exciting facilities. For those who want to try different enjoyable activities aside from swimming, they can try available rides in the place. King Pilipit is a giant slide inside the resort with thrilling twists. After sliding at King Pilipit, families can have an enjoyable raft ride at Rio Montanosa. Another giant slide with twists that people can find at Splash Island is Dos Supremos. Moreover, for those who want to try the exciting tunnel ride at the place, they can always visit Big Bam Boo.
Aside from these attractions, people can also visit other facilities at Splash Island like its souvenir shop known as Gift Galleon. This gift store sells different items like swim gear, keepsakes, as well as toiletries. On the other hand, for those who want to dine, the place features a food court and a restaurant named Fiesta sa Pulo.
History and Cost
Hem Public Affairs Inc. developed the concept behind the creation of Splash Island in the 1990s. The main goal for establishing this resort is to provide leisure and relaxation by featuring exciting swimming pools and unique giant slides. In order to enter the premises of this enticing resort, there are admission fees that people should pay. From Mondays to Fridays, adult entrance fee is 250 pesos, while children entrance fee is 200 pesos. On the other hand, during weekends, adult entrance fee is 325 pesos and children entrance fee is 250 pesos.
